Open Call for Artist Submissions
Canadian emerging artists are invited to email a PDF of their themed exhibit containing artist statement and exhibit title. The mandate of the Armatta gallery is to ignite the careers of Canadian emerging artists. How? By honouring its goal of finding and marketing the very best selections of fine art contemporary photography from emerging Canada by invitation to the artist. I ask to hang the artist supplied prints and I ask their time not their money to make the exhibit happen. And then we open the door to the public and see what happens.
Robert Armatta

The Armatta gallery is a contemporary photography gallery in Montreal profiling the artistry of Canadian emerging works. The gallery is privately owned and curated by Robert Armatta who has worked as an art director for more than 15 years with a specialty in brand management. It was in this discipline where he honed his appreciation and selection of photography both as a design element and as pure fine art. Encouraging emerging artists to exhibit their first solo exhibits, Armatta invites the selected artists to exhibit free of charge with all art sales divided in favour of the artist.

For exhibition consideration, artists are encouraged to email a PDF of their themed exhibit containing artist statement and exhibit title to galerie@armatta.ca.
